About Lisa
Lisa Gilbar, LCSW, is a clinical therapist with a private practice in Beverly Hills, CA. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety. Lisa works with adolescents and adults, and currently offers individual therapy only.
Lisa graduated with honors from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College (Dean's List), and attended Williams College. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California (61766) and a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State (082076-1). Lisa formerly worked as a counselor at the New York University Counseling Center, The Lower Manhattan Arts Academy, Crossroads School for the Arts & Sciences, and David Plotkin, Ph.D. & Associates. In addition to her training as a clinical therapist, Lisa worked professionally in the entertainment industry for 15 years.
Lisa is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), and The Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
